  • Position – Girls Director of Player Development

 The Girls Director of Player Development is responsible for organizing and implementing all competitive soccer programs for VSA between the ages of U8-U10. The Girls Director of Player Development will manage team formation, game scheduling, player development curriculums, parent education, and competitive coach development. This position requires extended hours on the fields and traveling with teams throughout the season. The Girls Director of Player Development will also demonstrate leadership, show enthusiasm, work efficiently while paying attention to detail and display a positive and professional attitude at all times.

  • Must have strong organization skills and manage multiple tasks occurring throughout the year.
  • Be able to work as part of a team with coaches, players, volunteers, and families.
  • Be able to cultivate positive ideas.
  • Help to lead VSA in all things related to soccer. 
  • Be proactive and able to meet deadlines.
  • Have clear, positive and timely communicator.
  • Be able to resolve conflict in a professional manner.
  • Be able to encourage an institution of accountability.

Requirements & Experience

  • 2-3 years working in youth soccer preferably a in a leadership position but not required
  • College or Professional Playing experience
  • National Youth License & USSF C-A License preferred
  • Passionate about working in the female game
  • Passionate about Zone 1 development
  • College Degree preferred
